The Can Do Descriptors, Original Edition booklets have been used for coaching general education teachers in the first steps of learning to differentiate instruction for English learners, and these posters provide yet another tool to support the success of EL students.

The Can Do Descriptors have not been updated to reflect the WIDA ELD Standards Framework, 2020 Edition, however, they remain available as a valuable tool for communicating with stakeholders about what students can do at each language proficiency level.
